005 is a 1981 arcade game by SEGA, in which the player's mission is to take a briefcase of secret documents to a waiting helicopter. It is one of the first examples of a stealth video game.
Arcade cabinet[ | ]
The game came in a fairly generic wood-grain panel cabinet. The sticker side art was optional, which made it easy to change the games around when necessary. The game boards were SEGA G80-compatible, and will work in any such cabinet. As with most early SEGA titles, the monitor is vertically mounted. The bezel around the monitor sported the standard instructions; the marquee showed a "005" logo and a flashlight.
Official world record[ | ]
Gamer Dwayne Richard holds the official world record for this game with a maximum possible 1,500,000 points.[citation needed]
