After Burner III is a game released for the Mega-CD in 1992. The game is not a true After Burner sequel, but is a port of the arcade game Strike Fighter.
There are a number of new tunes, along with altered versions of After Burner II's melodies.
Reception[]
MegaTech magazine gave the game 22% and noted that although the graphical capabilities of the Mega-CD were exploited, the game was "complete crap".[1]
