Terminology

In gaming and video gaming, Alignment is a term used to describe how a character sees and views the world and its inhabitants. The term is often used directly as a reference to Dungeons & Dragons, where players could choose from one of nine alignments.

"Good" Alignments

"Good" creatures typically exemplify the concepts of justice, chivalry, and righteousness.

"Neutral" Alignments

"Neutral" creatures typically embody the pacifist mentality, often carrying out their plans without getting involved in the affairs of others.

"Evil" Alignments

"Evil" creatures typically exemplify the concepts of greed, violence and cruelty.
