The Apple Bandai Pippin (referred to as the Apple Pippin and stylized as PiPP!N) was a multimedia technology platform, designed Apple Computer as an attempt to bring forth an inexpensive computer aimed mostly at playing CD-based multimedia titles, especially games, but also functioning as a network computer. Released in 1996, it was discontinued a year later due to poor sales and a lack of popularity.
