Template:Infobox museum The Arcade Barn is a UK-based "classic gaming museum", founded in 2009 by JAMMA+ and UKVAC member Shaun Meldon.
Run by Shaun and a dedicated bunch of arcade enthusiasts, 'The Barn' was designed with the intention of recreating the atmosphere of a UK amusement arcade from the mid Eighties.[1] The 'Arcade Barn' collection features many classics including Star Wars, PacMan and Space Invaders.
The Arcade Barn is not run for profit, and the organisers plough all monies received from donations back into keeping the current set of games up and running, restoration of future machines, and the rent of the premises. The venue also plays host to regular charity events where gamers get the opportunity to play classic games whilst at the same time donating money for good causes.
