Arcade racing video games are racing video games that are not focused on realism and/or simulation, thus avoiding the "simulation racing" genre. They are also not focused on battling and item usage like kart racers tend to be. Arcade racers can be thought of as a middle ground between the two.
The arcade racing game is usually easy to learn, a pick-up-and-play and experience.
