Codex Gamicus

Arid is a free open world survival craft game developed by Sad Viscacha Studio and published by Breda University of Applied Sciences. It was released on Steam for Microsoft Windows on June 29, 2021.

This is a small and contained open world survival experience set during the 1930s in one of the driest places in the world: the Atacama.

This game was developed by a team of students from Breda University of Applied Sciences. This is their first project together and they have worked on it during the span of a whole academic year. The game was under development for 24 weeks, and this doesn't include the time before that where experimentations and prototypes of the game were held.
