In the game player breaks bricks with an energyball and controls Vaus. There are 62 rounds which are divided into two episodes. At the last round of an episode a boss appears. The versus mode can be played against CPU or with 2 players offline and online. The versus mode has the following different modes to play in bust all battle mode and bust color battle mode. In bust all battle mode first to break all bricks wins and in bust color battle mode first to break all colored bricks designated to them wins.
