Asia is a continental region on Earth composed of a number of nations, such as the Russian Federation, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan, but does not usually include China, because of many publishing restrictions and translation requirements. Japan is also not normally included as part of Asia overall for gaming releases, as it tends to follow its own, often preferential, release dates for video games.
