Asphalt 9: Legends is an arcade-style racing game developed by Gameloft Barcelona and published by Gameloft. It was originally released for iOS, Android, and Microsoft Windows on July 25, 2018 after a soft launch in February 2018. It was later ported to Nintendo Switch on October 8, 2019, macOS on January 17, 2020, and Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on August 31, 2021.
The ninth main installment of the Asphalt series, Legends saw new and improved features get added, like new control schemes, race modes, improved graphics compared to its predecessor, Asphalt 8: Airborne, and TouchDrive, a new autopilot mechanic. The game also includes the reimplemented “shockwave nitro” last seen in Asphalt 6: Adrenaline.
