BattleSport is a futuristic sports video game developed by Unexpected Development and published by Acclaim Entertainment. It was released for the PlayStation in North America on June 30, 1997, and in Europe on August, 1997.[1]

The game received mediocre review from critics. GameSpot noted, ".... the fact is that there's just no need for a game like this on the PlayStation in 1997.[2]
