In Battle[ | ]
Bonemerang is a Ground-type move that deals damage to the opposing Pokémon twice in the same turn; each attack is 50 base power. Additionally, the second hit relies on the result of the first for how much damage it deals; only the first hit lands a critical hit, the second hit will also be a critical hit. If the first hit is a normal hit, the second hit will always be a normal hit. As soon as a hit breaks a Substitute, the move ends.
After the move is over, if the opposing Pokémon uses Bide, it will counter for the move's entire damage; if Counter is used, it will only counter the damage from the final hit.
