Bowser (Bowser Koopa being his full name) is the main antagonist of the Super Mario series, and a prominent character in the Mario franchise. He is the king of the Koopa and the nemesis of Mario.
The king of the Koopas, Bowser is obsessed with taking over the Mushroom Kingdom, generally by kidnapping and marrying Princess Peach, and defeating Mario.
