Capybara Games is an award-winning independent game studio based out of Toronto, Canada. It focuses on the development of iPhone, Nintendo DS, and downloadable console games. The studio was founded in 2003 from a collection of Toronto IGDA members.[1]
Capybara's mascot is a mustachioed man named Hank Hudson, who can be found in most of their games.

Capybara Games garnered awards and praise for their 2D video games. Critter Crunch scored an 87 on Metacritic[2] and Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes for the Nintendo DS scored an 86[3] making the latter game the 4th best rated Nintendo DS game of 2009.[4]
