Car Tycoon is an business simulation game in which the player manages a car company. This game was released on January 5, 2003 by Fishtank Interactive. It was the first major game by the developer, Vectorcome Development, and sees the player managing a company that develops and manufactures cars.

Bugs[ | ]

The game was plagued by bugs from the start. Initially, the player could not save games. Eventually, a patch was released that fixed this and a few other bugs, but the game still wasn't entirely bug-free. One of the many bugs that has never been never addressed had to do with the "big customers". In the game, the player is able to put offers at various different businesses, that use cars, around the towns he or she is selling cars. The premise is, apparently, to give the player another way to sell his or her cars. Unfortunately, this never works. The offers are never accepted. Another highly annoying bug has to do with the manufacturing of the cars themselves. In certain game maps, were the player has bought multiple factories, new factories never started production. Also, the game's German heritage is very clearly pointed out by a bug that allows the player's secretary to occasionally speak German, regardless of the version of the game.
