- Nomination
I was previously administrator on the Wikia rendition under a different name. (would prefer not to associate these two names but most people can probably guess) I intend to resume active editing here now that some new life has been breathed into the site due to the host change. (I previously lost interest due to a lack of progress and inactivity) Most of my work here at the moment is background work - I'm currently working on categories and restructuring, some template documentation, and general cleanup. - Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve as an administrator. Please answer the following four questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
- A: Mostly incidental. Things that come to mind are deleting pages made redundant by restructuring work, (and Wikipedia imports where an original page exists elsewhere) and editing protected templates. There is not a great deal of vandalism to be dealt with, but I will be there to deal with it on the rare occasion it arises.
- 2. What do you consider to be your best contributions, and why?
- A: Most of my work recently has been background work, so I don't have any recent flashy mainspace contributions. Of those that aren't I'm not sure how to pick a best one, that's more for others to judge.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: No.
- 4. Do you regularly contribute to any other wikis? Are you an administrator or bureaucrat on any of them, or do you have accounts with similar roles on forums, blogs, etc.? Could you provide links, if so?
- A: I've been an administrator on the Simple English Wikipedia since 2015, and was previously an administrator on Wikidata. I contribute to ProofWiki where I hold the "trusted user" flag which grants me most of the rights of an administrator. On the sites I contribute, my work has been well received.

- Support
- Absolute support - One of the most well-read and consistent users I've ever had the pleasure to know - worked with him in the past and had no problems whatsoever. I would suggest we skip this entire process but we're trying to remain diplomatic. They Call Him Mr Z (talk) 14:30, 15 December 2018 (UTC)
- Support - This user has been quite helpful during the transition, and would be a welcome addition to the team.--TwoTailedFox (talk) 22:35, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
