- Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve as an administrator. Please answer the following four questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
- A: Access to some tasks like deleting some unwanted files/pages. Possibly some re-coloring/theming for the wiki.
- 2. What do you consider to be your best contributions, and why?
- A: My contributions are just truly extending the coverage of video games of the wiki, so that I can reach a goal of making the platform as a whole covering even the most obscure video games that don't have wikis (well, not extremely obscure with like less than 10 reviews, something that has like a few hundred reviews but no documentation on Fandom). Let's say that there is a list of games feature a hundred games, 10 of them don't have a wiki of some sort. Even though plenty of them may not need an entire wiki, I just cover the "rest" of the games of many list of games here so that Fandom can possess A L L T H E K N O W L E D G E.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Nope, at least not on this wiki. The way I deal with them is blocking users who clearly come to vandalize and such, and if they evade, I keep blocking until they give up. I sometimes even get to discuss with other admins and mods how to deal with certain users.
- 4. Do you regularly contribute to any other wikis? Are you an administrator or bureaucrat on any of them, or do you have accounts with similar roles on forums, blogs, etc.? Could you provide links, if so?
- A: Yes, I have a full list of wikis I (have) contribute(d) to. My specialties are gaming and web, but I also edit movies/TV, books/comics, and music. I'm an admin/bureaucrat on plenty of wikis (although I can often be the founder too).
