- Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve as an administrator. Please answer the following four questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
- A: Definitely handling vandalism. And keeping the front page up-to-date with game releases, news, etc.!
- 2. What do you consider to be your best contributions, and why?
- A: My best contributions are pretty much anything with categories, list making, and organization. I'm a stickler for pages that are well written and can serve as good examples for pages to follow.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: I never really had any conflicts over editing, I tend to let everyone do their own thing (within reason). There have been users on blog articles that have written some nasty things toward other users, and I usually delete them/block the offender. If someone were to give me a problem, I would have to talk it out with them and hopefully we can move on.
- 4. Do you regularly contribute to any other wikis? Are you an administrator or bureaucrat on any of them, or do you have accounts with similar roles on forums, blogs, etc.? Could you provide links, if so?
- A: For now, I'm back to solely editing EG. I used to be an admin here. Here is a list of all my contributions on EG. At one point, I was offered the roll of admin on the WoWWiki, but I decline it, as I didn't think I'd be active enough to accept it. I was an admin of the Paper Mario wiki. I founded the Nickelodeon Doug wiki, Virtual Villagers wiki, and various other wikis that aren't really important.
