Spoilers are pieces of information that may prevent someone being able to appreciate a game's story. These can either be general plotpoints, details on character deaths or development, or specific unexpected events.
Spoilers are usually marked as such, unless someone is forcibly trying to ruin a game.
An example of this would be:
- This section contains spoilers! Content within this section may reveal significant parts of a game(s) story.
- Tifa kills Sephiroth.
All spoilers on Codex Gamicus should be specifically marked as such with the tag, {{Spoilers}}.
Optionally, if there is more information after the spoiler text, the end of the spoiler can be marked with the {{Spoiler End}} tag like so:
- This section contains spoilers! Content within this section may reveal significant parts of a game(s) story.
- Tifa kills Sephiroth.
- The section above contains spoilers! Content within that section may reveal significant parts of a game(s) story.
Of course, this is only an example.
