Confounding Factor was a British video games company founded in 1997 by Toby Gard and Paul Douglas,[1] both of Core Design, and based in Bristol, UK.[2] The company only released a single title during its lifetime, called Galleon,[3] which went on sale in 2004 for the Microsoft Xbox console.[4] The company disbanded soon after[5] with Gard taking up a position with UK video game publisher Eidos.[6]
