Terminology |
Cross-Platform Multi-player refers to the ability for players to play an online multi-player video game while using different systems. For example, a player playing Rocket League on the PlayStation 4 could possibly play against or with another player on a Windows computer. Some systems will opt out of cross platform play with another system if it's against a competitor (such as Microsoft and Sony).
