Crytek Black Sea (previously known as Black Sea Studios) is a Bulgarian video game developer founded in 2001 and based in Sofia. The company is most famous for Knights of Honor, a historical real-time strategy game released for Windows in 2004, and for the real-time strategy title WorldShift, which was released in May 2008.

On July 14, 2008, German Crytek, makers of FarCry and Crysis, announced they have bought Black Sea Studios and renamed it to Crytek Black Sea.[1]
