Eschalon is a series of isometric computer role-playing games developed by the independent video game company Basilisk Games. Intended as a trilogy, the games are intended to play like "old school" role-playing games featuring large and openly explorable game worlds, comprehensive management of character statistics and skills, and non-linear storylines.[1]
The series currently comprise of two released games:
- Eschalon: Book I - Windows, Mac OS X, Linux (2007)
- Eschalon: Book II - Windows, Mac OS X, Linux (2010)
A third game called Eschalon: Book III is expected.[2]
