The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita releases include re-arranged versions of the soundtracks from both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. The PlayStation 4 release includes both the original and re-arranged soundtracks, and includes the option for the player to select from either, both at the beginning, or during the game, soundtrack they would like playing during gameplay. The PlayStation Vita release includes Final Fantasy X HD on the PlayStation Vita Game Card, and a download code for Final Fantasy X-2 HD. Trophies for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster persist across PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita as one Trophy list.
An entry on SteamDB for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, found here during 2015, indicated a possible future release on Steam. The actual Steam Store page for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster went live on May 10, 2016, and cited May 12, 2016 as the release date.
The Steam version also includes Auto-Save functionality and five in-game boosters, such as high-speed and no encounters.
