- The Flatmobile vaguely resembles the Batmobile from the Batman saga. However it does not resemble a specific Batmobile. The Flatmobile is easily damaged when opponents crash into the car at a perpendicular angle, or if the player slams into a wall at top speed. The vehicle it truly closely resembles is one of the old chevy gas turbine concept cars.

- Nearly all of the game vehicles resemble real life vehicles. For example, the Lancea resembles the Datsun 240Z, Lentus, resembles the Chevrolet El Camino, the CTR and the CTR Sport resembles the Honda CRX. The Derby Vehicle, known as the Blaster XL resembles the Ford Bronco and the Canyon resembles the Dodge Ram SRT-10. The Fortune resembles the De Lorean. The Street Vehicle known as Sunray resembles the Nissan Skyline GT-R, the Street Vehicle known as "Speedshifter" resembles the Chevrolet Chevelle and the Street Vehicle known as Road King resembles the S197/2005+ body style Ford Mustang GT. Street & Race class vehicle known as Bullet resembles Dodge Challenger. The Street class vehicle known as Terrator mildly resembles a mixture of Fourth Generation Chevrolet Camaro and Jaguar XJS, the Race class vehicle known as Daytana resembles Third Generation Chevrolet Camaro, the Street class vehicle known as Sparrowhawk resembles a mixture of Lamborghini Countach and DeTomaso Pantera. Street class vehicle known as Crusader resembles Chevrolet Thriftmaster truck. Street class vehicle known as Scorpion resembles Fastback Ford Mustang Mach 1. Derby class vehicle Splitter resembles a Dodge Daytona. Stunt vehicle known as Nucleon resembles Mark IV Toyota Supra. A Street-class car Insetta, and its other version Insetta Sport in the Race class both resemble a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.

- Some of the vehicles in the game features the Street versions of Derby or Race Vehicles. The Chili (a derby class vehicle) has another version known as the Chili Pepper (a Street class vehicle). The Race vehicle, CTR also has another version, known as the CTR Sport. The Bullet also has another version, known as the Bullet GT.
