Gamescom 2022 is an upcoming gaming convention that will be held at the Koelnmesse in Köln, Germany from August 24-28, 2022. This event will mark the start of the "Gamescom Goes Green" project, in which the event as a whole will be designed to be climate-neutral over the medium and long term through the reduction and avoidance of CO₂ (Carbon Dioxide) emissions, and in the short term through carbon offset.[1]
