Geist is a First-person shooter developed by n-Space. It is most often compared to Metroid Prime for its unique take on the FPS genre. This weird take being, the fact that you are a ghost, who must possess inanimate objects to scare people, and then possess people to use them in fire fights.
Story[]
John Raimi, a 20-something disease-control agent with the federal government, has been assigned to recover data from the shady Volks Corporation in southern France. The job was originally supposed to be carried out by Thomas Bryson, an undercover agent and John Raimi's friend, but all contact with him was lost 10 days prior. The Volks Corporation has been developing a chemical or biological compound.
John meets up with Thomas and recovers the data. All is well until an alarm sounds. John must fight to ensure the safety of his teamates and himself. He is eventually captured and his soul is ripped from his body.
As a geist, John is invisible to humans and can easily flow through chain-link fences and small openings in walls. He can also possess inanimate objects and, once frightened, living creatures (including human beings).
John must use his new found abilities to find out just what the hell is going on at the Volks Corporation and get back his body.
