Giga Gaia is the name of a boss in Chrono Trigger. He resides in the Mountain of Woe, and must be defeated to free Melchior, the Guru of Life. Other than generally being evil, he is made up of 3 parts: A torso/head and two hands. Like most bosses with two disembodied hands (See: Andross), the hands must be destroyed first before the main part can be killed.
His hands have approximately 2,000 HP, while his torso has approximately 10,000 HP.
