Gran Turismo Sport is a driving video game developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4.
The video game is the thirteenth overall game in the Gran Turismo franchise. An announcement trailer was revealed at the 2015 Paris Games Week.
The game was scheduled to be released in 2016, but on 30 August 2016, Polyphony Digital announced the game would be delayed until 2017. It was eventually released that year first on October 17 for the North American market, and then the following two days for the European and Japanese markets, respectively.
