Premise[]
Try your hand as a global planner of a future society. Play with a wide range of technologies and policies spanning different fields and ideologies. Will you lead the world to ecological utopia or planetary ruin?
Gameplay[]
The gameplay revolves around the player making a number of decisions in changing production methods, performing research projects, constructing infrastructure projects, and enacting policies. These actions influence metrics such as biodiversity pressure, emissions, global temperature anomaly, contentness, and political capital. A game is won when the player reduces biodiversity pressure to under 20, reduces emissions to under 0, and reduces the global temperature anomaly to under 1oC within the 60 in-game years the player is given. A game is lost when the player fails to reach the goal within the turn limit, when contentness drops below zero, or when they entirley run out of political capital.
