Not to be confused with the class Hero from the Fire Emblem series.

Hero class refers to a class in World of Warcraft that has a unique set of abilities and restrictions and are typically separated from players of other classes with unique starting zones, requirements for unlocking, and may be limited to a few races based on lore.

So far only three hero classes exist in World of Warcraft: Death Knight, Demon Hunter, and Evoker.
