Hideo Kojima (小島秀夫 Kojima Hideo ) is a Japanese game designer. The creator of the Metal Gear and Boktai franchises, Kojima is well regarded for his contributions to the gaming industry, especially within its early years.
He worked for Konami from 1986 to 2015. He is currently the head of Kojima Productions.
