The Intellivision II is an update to the original Intellivision. Besides having a smaller case, the Intellivision II also has flatter membrane keypads on its controllers and combined the Power and Reset buttons into one single button, which required depressing for several seconds when the system is turned on in order to turn it off. Some games such as Donkey Kong, Carnival, Venture, and Mouse Trap were rendered inoperable to play on this version of the system due to a modification in the system's EXEC chip purposely designed to lock out unlicensed third party titles.
