IPVR (Interact Play VR) is a 3D sex simulation game developed by Dreams. It was released on August 21, 2001 in Japan.
Storyline[ | ]
The player plays as a chikan (a perverted man who frequently fondles women) in crowded subway trains. He fondles the girls, rips the women's clothes in the subway trains as their unwanted pleasure grows from being groped, then follow them afterwards off of the train after successfully inserting/applying something on them to further make their ecstacy burn. He later rapes the women, takes pictures of them and blackmails them.
The game is very similar to it's predecessor Interact Play, but refinements and changes were made to the game mechanics to make it easier to play;the player no longer has to carefully get close to the girl on the subway train which was rather tedious as other passengers would block the way, and navigation was rather clunky. The player still has a time limit to max out ecstacy, but the time taken navigating to the girl no longer is shared with the time you have to pleasure the girl. There's also no longer a present risk of losing time if a passenger notices you while groping the girl, which was a random nuisance that could cost you valuable time if you happened to grope at a random time. The player also no longer has to watch the girl's visual face reaction CG arts at the bottom of the screen to alert them on when to cease groping to prevent a time deduction for touching her when her "warning" reaction appears, greatly lessening the difficulty. Instead, the player must grope the girl in a "touch and go" manner by groping her as the meter fills, slowing down as the meter gain lessens, and then briefly cooling down and choosing a different area once the current area's meter gain dwindles. Finally, the most obvious change is that instead of CG scenes being the part of the game where the girls are actually having sex(When the player manages to seclude the girl after a successful groping session, Interact Play only allowed further groping and similar actions like using a belt, candle, sex toy, hands, or mouth/tongue to further stimulate the girls), Interact Play VR allows the player to actually have sex with the girl, as the protagonist is visible and able to use a variety of actions that range from penetration to even servicing of the protagonist or girl depending on what action the player chooses. The player for example depending on their chosen route in the scene can orally pleasure the girl or finger her, or he can make the girl give him a blowjob or actually penetrate her.
As far as the gameplay, the beginning of each girl's scenario begins with the man watching them, with the main objective being to remain unseen and unnoticed by the girl while being able to view them freely during the wait for the train which is quite easy to do. If the player is noticed, this will lead to a game over as the girl walks away from the player, having noticed his presence. If successful, the player then will be able to grope the girl on the train as he boards along with her; the main objective is to make the girl's ecstacy meter rise before the resistance meter before time runs out;by switching between grope locations such as the breasts, crotch, and butt, the ecstacy meter will rise, with certain locations at specific times giving an additional ecstacy increase. Its also possible to lick the breasts when exposed, and you can "threaten" the girls(skull symbol icon) by touching areas like the throat or face when used, or in Maya's case her right injured shoulder. Once the ecstacy meter is filled before the time runs out, another article of clothes will be able to be ripped or opened, allowing for more direct groping of the breasts or crotch which will increase the rate at which the ecstacy and reistance meters will increase. Once the final article of clothes is torn, the player will then be able finish the groping sequence by inserting or placing a specific sex toy or item on the girl which will force them fo flee the train to escape. Worth noting is that as the player progresses, the girls will begin to vary in difficulty with how easily their ecstacy and resistance meters fill; Haruka(who doesn't know the man at all beforehand) and Manami(who witnessed the man assaulting Haruka but is afraid of him and also suffers from a heart condition) for example will easily have their ecstacy rise with very little need to use threats to lower their resistance, while with girls like Maya(who is a trained martial artist who's already aware of the man and wants revenge, but he uses her shoulder injury against her) and Yoko(who is very aware and cautious of the culprit at thus point and is even using herself as bait with a bodyguard to possibly draw him out) will be more difficult as their resistance meters rise much quicker and more easily than their ecstacy which will require more time management and threats to ensure their resistance doesn't surpass their ecstacy. As the groping goes on, the girl will occasionally have a brief view of her in shock face as she comments on the situation at hand in fear or surprise.
Once the girl is in one of the secluded locations the player follows them to, the player will then be able to rape them with a variety of positions, with the options varying depending on what action is selected;actions range from oral sex to penetration to even spanking and other violent methods depending on the girl. Once her ecstacy meter is full, the player will then be rewarded with CG videos of the girl being assaulted before the rest of the story plays out;Each girl has two separate CG videos, one of which will occur depending on the acts chosen during the sex scene. At specific times during the story, the player must make a choice between two options, one leading to successful continuation of the story while the other leads to arrest via specific circumstances.
For the main series of events that occur in the plot, the man laments, saying that the purpose of life is to devour and take advantage of woman unable to resist on crowded subway trains, with the notion that their bodies being unable to resist paired with their regret and embarrassment being something that he enjoyed. He also feels that if the woman reacts well, it wouldn't be a bad idea to lure her to the bathroom and force her to have sex, with the man only being concerned about his pleasure and not caring about how his victim feels. With that being said, he begins his quest to search for his next "prey".
The man begins with Haruka, a young high schoolgirl who attends a private girls' school whom he follows on the train;normally she would have chosen a quicker train, but due to oversleeping from studying rigorously, she doesn't have the luxury and must use a crowded train the man is also using to make it to her school in time. She doesn't pay close attention to her surroundings, reading her reference book which makes her disregard the crowd of people, which unfortunately also included the man staring at her. Crushing a can of coffee he had in his hand, the man who was staring at the schoolgirl further begins to prey upon her. Regarding his 190 cm height and being able to bench press 120 kg as a further reason to not look suspicious as he prepares to follow her on the subway train, he carefully preys upon her before following her onto the subway much to her lack of knowledge.
Taking off her clothes and ripping them as he proceeds to grope and fondle her much to her surprise, he eventually lowers her panties and puts her in a chastity belt vibrator that she can't remove herself without the man's key. She rushes off the train when it reaches its destination to the restrooms, with the man following behind and using a cleaning sign to prevent anyone from trying to enter.

He also revealed that he got her address from her student ID as well, and Haruka breaks down in tears from the hopelessness of her situation. However a bell sound is heard from someone, and he leaves the restroom to see who walked in on the act.
The person is gone, but the man discovers a bell heart pendant locket with two school girls, one with braided pigtails(Manami) and the other with a short hairstyle with a side pigtail(Maya), both dressing in identical school uniforms. The player is then able to choose which girl he wants to follow this time to rape.
If Maya is chosen as the girl to pursue, the man is greeted with violent retribution as Maya quickly manages to subdue him and attack him, making him fall on the train station floor before he can even attempt to prey on her;it turns out Manami was the one who witnessed the rape in the restroom earlier and she told Maya who subdues the man for her with her alongside her friend from the background. This leads to the man being arrested(which results in a game over for the player) and the man lamenting how he should have instead went after Manami.
If Manami(the one with the braided pigtails) is chosen, the man encounters her at the train station, with a cutscene from the prior time showing her having to use the restroom, which happened to be the same one the man is assaulting Haruka in. She notes that the sign says it's being cleaned and is about to avoid using it to return to the front of the station, but she hears Haruka's muffled moans from inside the restroom and decides to timidly peek inside, and to her horror she witnesses Haruka being raped, and runs away in fear, not realizing that she left her heart pendant locket on the ground.
Following Manami on the train cautiously so she wouldn't recognize him, he begins to grope her as well, tearing her clothes and lifting them before finally placing anal beads into her buttocks. After the train reaches the next place, Manami runs to the restroom, beginning to succumb to her urge to use the restroom with the anal beads adding on to her situation due to the sensation. As she attempts to try to use the restroom, the man silently enters the stall, with Manami seeing him, and urinating herself in the process. In her embarrassing predicament, he takes pictures of her having urinated on herself as blackmail, and he forces himself on her, with her fear making her unable to resist as he rapes her.
After finishing with her, she suffers seizures from her exhaustion and heart problems, laying on the ground as the man taunts her with her medication from her school bag he went through, as well as taking more pictures of her to further blackmail her. After asking and getting confirmation that the heart pendant he discovered earlier before belonged to her, he discovers it was her who had witnessed him raping Haruka earlier, and she pleads for her medicine as her condition begins to worsen, promising she won't let anyone know what happened. He then asks her about her friend Maya in the picture as he quickly leaves, with him likely giving her her medication as a miniscule bribe for her silence in regards to her rape.
Maya goes to the train station to go to school that same day, waiting on Manami who doesn't appear at the usual time. Kowing of Manami's health condition and her seizures, she attempts to search the train station for her, not finding her but hearing the familiar sound of the bell heart pendant Manami wore, and the large man she never seen before board the train, along with Manami's keychain pendant at the waist of his belt;with the man boarding the train before she can do anything, she anxiously rushes in the direction he came from, which leads her to the direction of the bathroom to find the naked and defiled Manami lying on the ground, and she attempts to take her to the hospital with Manami stubbornly refusing to go, saying her heart is fine and tearfully she admits she doesn't want anyone to know what happened to her much to the obvious concern of Maya.
3 days afterwards while having visited Manami daily at her home before commuting to school, Maya makes it her goal to find the culprit who assaulted her best friend to exact revenge. The man catches sight of her and proceeds to prey on her as he notes she's actively been searching for him for revenge. Remaining hidden to avoid suspicion, the man knows she will be difficult to touch but knows her weakness: according to Manami, her right shoulder injury causes her to completely lose her body strength if gripped tightly due to a martial arts accident, acting as her Achilles heel.
Using this fact, the man gropes Maya on the train, removing clothes and exposing her before finally putting a vibrator dildo inside her. Maya runs off the train in desperation as the man tails her to a nearby material warehouse. While inside, Maya attempts to remove the vibrator from her vagina but it's futile as her attempts make it create electrical currents to her vaginal walls, causing her pain. If the player instead decides to have the man pull out the handcuff key rather than the locket pendant, he blackmails Maya with it in exchange for her telling him about her school. He then goes to their school around 10 pm having used an emblem on the heart pendant locket to locate it as he proceeds to go over the locked gate, in an act of trespassing. Entering through an open window, he goes inside the empty staff room and discovers a staff list, allowing him to set his sites on Yoko Kiryu, Maya and Manami's teacher he quickly favors. A few days afterwards, the man encounters Yoko at the station, concerned about the absence of both Manami and Maya who she had learned were both assaulted and molested.
Devising a plan, she hires someone to watch over her in case of attack to possibly catch the culprit, but is unsuccessful as it's a week later and the man doesn't yet appear. However, now at the train station with her in his sights, the man carefully pursues her, all the while trying to note who the bodyguard is that is watching Yoko as well. If the player guesses the gender of the guard as female, this will lead to his arrest as the guard attacks him before he can assault Yoko, leading to an arrest and game over as the guard finds the heart pendant locket on the man and Yoko realizes he's the one who assaulted her students. It's assumed this results since the man expects a female to be alongside her and wasn't expecting the person with a cap to be the bodyguard.
If the player however chooses the possibility of the guard being a man, he successfully tails her on the subway station with caution. However he is stopped by someone with a cap pulled over their head who asks the man where he got the locket from, but he quickly elbows them away and continues to prey on Yoko aboard the train who is now alone without the guard close by to protect her. After groping her and tearing and stripping her clothes as well, he then uses a clothespin and pins it to her vaginal clitorus. Yoko then runs off the train into a nearby boiler room past the bathroom, with the man following.
She removes the clothespin which results in a stinging pain that she tries to make go away via masturbation but she is caught by the man and quickly pinned down. He pulls out the pictures of the raped Manami and Maya; with threats of exposing the photos to the public, Yoko is overwhelmed by fear as the man picks her up with ease and violently rapes her next. After her rape, he steps on her semen covered body before taking pictures of her and once again threatening her two students as Yoko pleads with him, in a futile attempt to cover for her students by offering herself to him instead, but this proves futile. The man then holds a photo of a woman with a red shirt and black jacket and asks her who she is, as he took the picture from her jacket earlier much to her shock.
She reveals it's her guard, and after remembering the capped person from earlier who questioned him about the locket, he realizes the person and the woman in the picture are one and the same, but she is in disguise as a a man to conceal her gender. He proceeds to ask Yoko more about her, and a week later he pursues the woman named Miyabi. Miyabi is a detective and is in search of Yoko who she had lost contact with the day the man groped and assaulted Yoko on the train which lead to their separation, but she still has a hunch that the man is the culprit due to the heart pendant locket.
With the man now watching Miyabi, he preys on her at the train station as they both wait for it to arrive. The man then follows the disguised Miyabi on the train to grope and strip her clothes to expose her before inserting a thick black vibrator dildo inside her. She rushes off the train going into the very back equipment room that doesn't allow trespassing, but Miyabi does so anyway with the man following behind. She tries to remove the dildo herself to no avail as it forcibly spreads her vaginal area and vibrates causing her pain. Miyabi searches his pockets and retrieves the pictures of her and the other girls and the handcuffs the man had on him, before proceeding to arrest him with the handcuffs with plans to bring him to justice for his crimes. The man finally snaps, jumping up and pushing aside Miyabi before rushing to leave the equipment storage area to avoid arrest. Running down the hallway at full speed, he attempts to run away from Miyabi through the train station but is unable to find the key to his handcuffs. He attempts to use the locket pendant to pick at the clasp, but in a hurried rush, the locket fell out of his pocket unto the train tracks, which leads to him accidentally being hit by an express train from the fall due to him attempting to retrieve the locket with no knowledge of the incoming express train. He somehow survives and winds up in the hospital, but he is ultimately arrested, to atone for the crimes he committed to the 5 women via Miyabi's role in his capture.
Shockingly, it is revealed he isn't exactly handcuffed as the train's metal fittings made contact with his handcuffs during the train accident, and it amputated both of his hands at the wrists. There's strangely no trace or even much indication of his hands, but in an ironic fashion, a hand is seen on a window of the express train that belonged to the man. The story then ends, with the man ultimately getting his deserved consequences for his evil deeds as he is imprisoned and left with no hands. The fate of the girls is uncertain.
After the main story is completed, the player is able to go back and replay the groping and sex sequences in the "Extras" mode, as well as viewing the CG artwork of the girls and their CG movies. However, certain CGs will not be able to be viewed such as the arrest and other CGs that occur during events in the story;Saving specific moments in save/load menu is recommended so that way the player can easily load and view story CGs that arent available in the "Extras" mode. This also makes it easier to view the alternate CG movies that can result from choosing a different path of actions during the sex scenes, such as Haruka being either forced to give a blowjob for example rather than vaginal penetration if certain actions are chosen before ending the scene after the ecstacy meter is full. The CG art also can vary depending on what sex act the player finishes with; Haruka for example will have semen stain her face if the player gets the blowjob CG movie, while actually having vaginal/anal sex with her will result in semen staining her buttocks area.

- The Man; A tall man who is also physically strong, able to easily overpower and handle the girls in most cases. If the player makes certain choices, it is possible for the man to be arrested, leading to a game over. He actively preys on all of the girls, groping them, tearing their clothes to expose them, and then proceeding to assault them when they're alone in a secluded area unable to resist. He blackmails the girls with compromising pictures of them before and after their assault as assurance that they won't tell anyone, as well as to ensure their cooperation for later possible sex encounters. Besides being a chikan and a rapist, he also uses means of stalking, trespassing, threats, and even violence as a way to get what he wants out of the girls he pursues.
- Haruka Isezaki: an honor student with long black hair styled in a hime cut, glasses, and a brown school uniform. The first victim, she is the only girl who does not have a connection or relationship to the other girls at all, however her assault is the main catalyst that leads to the other girls' rapes whom are connected. Having no knowledge of the man at all, she is the easiest to grope as her resistance is low.
- Manami Akagi: A young schoolgirl who has brown hair braided in long pigtails and wears a school uniform, along with a beret. She is a sickly, timid girl with a heart problem she must take medication for that prevents her from doing rigorous activity and leaves her exhausted and with heart pain, as noted when she is running to the train station after witnessing the rape of Haruka, and her condition after she is assaulted herself. She is the second victim and the best friend of Maya, who protects her. She witnessed the rape of Haruka, and due to this her resistance is somewhat higher since she knows the man's appearance.
- Maya Kitamoto: a young girl like Manami but with short brown hair with a small twin tail on the left side, she also wears a school uniform but with shorter socks. She is Manami's best friend who is more feisty and far less meek; a highly skilled martial artist, she protects Manami which led to their bond due to being aware that Manami suffers from a heart problem. She has a right shoulder injury that causes her body to lose strength when tightly gripped. This acts as a threat option that can be used to greatly lower her resistance as her resist gauge by this time increases faster than Manami and Haruka, making constant contact of her right shoulder necessary to prevent her from having more resistance than ecstacy. If the wrong choice is made after her rape, it's possible for her to attack the player from behind which leads to him being arrested and a game over.
- Yoko Kiryu: a young, somewhat curvy teacher with wavy brown medium hair she wears down, who also wears bluish professional teacher attire and heels with lingerie like underwear underneath. She is Maya and Manami's concerned schoolteacher whose efforts to out the culprit behind their assaults by acting as bait with a body guard lead to her being the fourth victim. She can be compared to something like a motherly figure towards Manami and Maya as she is immensely concerned over their assaults, and she even goes as far as to try to cover for the girls if it means they won't be harmed anymore. She is the oldest out of the other women, and is notable for having the largest bust size amongst all of the girls.
- Miyabi Haneo: A detective and a bodyguard with a red shirt and black coat, khaki pants, and a fitted cap she wears over her brown hair that's tied in a ponytail when not wearing her hat. She also binds her chest as a means of further concealing the fact that she's female. Determined to apprehend the protagonist at all costs, she is very much alert and aware of the player, being able to lead to a later game over if the player makes a wrong assumption about her identity when preying on Yoko, and she nearly comes close to catching the player when she sees the stolen heart pendant locket he has, but she is elbowed away as a means to evade her and separate her from Yoko before he boards the train with her. She is the final victim as she was supposed to be responsible for watching over Yoko, which she does in disguise to hide her gender. She appears to be something of a tomboy much like Maya, and as a detective, she is vert concerned and focused on solving the crime of the sexual assaults at any cost necessary. She is the 2nd eldest out of the women.

- Yoko, Manami, and Maya all make appearances in future Illusion titles; Yoko appears in Sexy Beach 2, and Manami appears in Sexy Beach 3, with Maya appearing alongside Manami in Sexy Beach 3 Plus. Likely due to the beach series appearing as a non canon title with no real story ties to the characters' respective titles they debuted in, it's highly unlikely that the game takes their ordeal into account from Interact Play.
- Maya and Miyabi are the only girls capable of being able to restrain and have the player arrested.
- Haruka and Maya are the only girls who have CG movies that result in them giving fellatio.
- Maya has the most game over risks out of all the girls, as she can restrain and overpower the protagonist twice in the game's story before and after her assault.
- The protagonist is the first and only one of the Illusion Play series who is unable to have his clothes removed during sex with the girls.

- Maya is the only female in the game who is handcuffed before and during her assault, as the other girls are not restrained that way during their scenes.
- Haruka is the only girl who has no prior relationship or knowledge of any of the other girls, nor the man. Maya and Manami know of each other since both are close friends, and Yoko is their teacher. Miyabi is Yoko's bodyguard, and she likely knows of Manami and Maya from Yoko; Miyabi also likely knows of Haruka since she acquired the man's blackmail photos.
- Manami is the only girl who has something inserted in her anus. All of the other girls have something either inserted or applied to their vaginal areas.
- Manami and Maya are the only girls who have physical ailments that are used against them in game as the protagonist threatens Manami with her heart medication after her ordeal, and Maya has her injured shoulder used to weaken her immensely before her ordeal.
- Yoko is the only girl able to be whipped with a whip/belt. She can also be stepped on in her scene. Haruka can also be physically hurt/struck as the player can spank her buttocks, and the protagonist will also strike Maya before anally penetrating her.
- Interact Play VR reuses Interact Play's(an earlier Illusion project) music as it uses its main menu theme from Interact Play's extra gallery, and it also reused the game's second intro BGM as a theme for the actual sex scenes, albeit with a lower pitch. Interact Play VR also uses Interact Play's ending credits scene as the BGM for when Miyabi is able to electrocute and handcuff the protagonist. The BGM played when the protagonist from Interact Play is arrested is also used when the protagonist is arrested in Interact Play VR.
- Manami, Miyabi, and Haruka are underage, with Yoko and Miyabi being the only characters over 18, as well as not in school as students.
- Manami's heart locket is ironically a major part of most of the game's story: The player knows of Manami and Maya from Manami her leaving the locket behind and hearing the chime when she leaves from the first witnessed rape, Maya rushes to the bathroom and discovers Manami when she hears and sees the protagonist boarding the train with the locket at his hip, the player uses it to locate the girls' school, and Miyabi also recognizes and attempts to question the protagonist when she sees him with the locket. The locket however is fortunately the protagonist's downfall as he winds up losing his hands via an express train accident when he attempts to pick it up when it falls, and choosing to show Maya the locket after her assault will lead to a game over.
- Unlike the predecessor game Interact Play, the protagonist blackmails and photographs the girls after their assaults to prevent them from telling the police, while Interact Play does not have blackmail, as the protagonist simply leaves the defiled girls and continues on with his office job work schedule after their encounters. Rapelay the successor game however has the protagonist as a repeat sex offender who blackmails the girls.
- Miyabi is the only girl in the game who doesn't wear a skirt or bra, as she wears pants and a chest binder to conceal her gender.
