In gaming and video gaming, the Inventory is a list and/or graphical representation of the currently-held items that the player (or party) has collected on their travels so far. Most games restrict you in one way or another; some video games use a size-based item storage system (where more valuable or useful items take up more room), while others use a number-based item storage system.
Some games split the inventory into Items, Quest Items, Keys and Key Items; some video games require specific mechanics to increased the storage size of the player's inventory, while many offer no customization at all.
