Jak X: Combat Racing was a vehicular combat game for the PlayStation 2. It was the 4th Jak and Daxter game, and the last to be developed by Naughty Dog.
Reception[ | ]
The game met generally good reviews, earning a 76/100 from GameSpot. [1]
Memory Card problems[ | ]
The game was met with a potentially game breaking glitch on launch. Occasionally, the game data for the game will corrupt, but this can be worse than simply deleting the game's data. In severe cases, it will damage the memory card beyond repair, leaving all progress, for all games lost.
A workaround would have you eject the memory card during regular play, then re-inserting it when you need to save. The Official PlayStation Magazine said that players could, if they wish, send in their copy to receive a fixed copy of the game, a new memory card, and a SOCOM Navy SEALs game. No-one is yet claiming responsibility for broken memory cards.
