Justice League Heroes is an action RPG in the same vein as the X-Men Legends games. It follows the Gauntlet Legends style of gameplay, with players controlling DC Superheroes. Only two characters are in play at once. The game features over 7 different characters, with several more unlockable.

The story was written by comic scribe & writer for the Justice League Unlimited animated series, Dwayne McDuffie.
