Kirby (カービィ, Kabi) is the main character of his own series of games created by Nintendo and HAL Laboratory. He was specifically designed by Masahiro Sakurai as a placeholder, but the simple blob design stuck. He was first featured in Kirby's Dream Land on the Game Boy in 1992. He is also featured in the GameCube's Super Smash Bros. Melee and his own Saturday morning cartoon on Fox. Kirby's relation to Meta Knight is still unknown, but they both are the last star warriors.
