Lost: Via Domus is a video game based on the television series LOST. The game was released for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 26, 2008. It coincides with the first 70 days of the show. The game's main character is Elliot Maslow.
The player is cast as Elliot Maslow, a photojournalist with amnesia who survived the crash of Oceanic Flight 815. The gameplay is similar to Resident Evil, it consists of missions and puzzles. LOST elements are included, such as the use of flashbacks.
Many of the main characters in the series, Jack Shepard, Kate Austen, and James "Sawyer" Ford made an appearance. Though only the actors for Ben Linus, Sun, Desmond Hume, Claire, Tom, Mikhail Bakunin provided their voice for the video game.
Lost: Via Domus received decent or poor reviews; the game was often criticized for its length and its poor stand-in voice work. IGN claimed that "Sawyer sounded like Huckleberry Finn." Other magazines and websites praised the fact that the game was able to create a character and not disrupt the series by doing so.
