Madden NFL is an American football video game series developed by Electronic Arts Tiburon for EA Sports. The game is named after Pro Football Hall of Famer John Madden. According to NPD, Madden 06 for the PlayStation 2 became the best selling game in the United States for 2006, selling over 1.8 million copies.
