Madou Monogatari: Hanamaru Dai Youchienji (魔導物語 はなまる大幼稚園児 Madō Monogatari Hanamaru Dai Yōchienji?, translated as "Madou Monogatari: Big Kindergarten Kids") is a console role-playing game for the Super Famicom released in Japan on January 12, 1996.

Hanamaru Dai Youchienji is one of the Madou Monogatari (魔導物語 Madō Monogatari?) series, the characters of which were used in Puyo Puyo.

Gameplay[]

The gameplay is a traditional role-playing game with some unique twists. For example, there are no numeric stats. Instead, everything is represented by the character's facial expressions and sprites. The game was intended for small children who do not have the ability to count figures in their head. Another is the complete lack of physical attacks (similar to Harry Potter or magical girl anime). Everything utilizes a magical element: Fire, Ice Storm, Thunder, and Bayoen. Some enemies are weaker against one particular magic attack than another.
