In gaming, Magic elements are often used to determine how damage is applied to enemies in a game. They are often color coordinated.
Fire[ | ]
Fire is the elemental embodiment of the power and destruction of a raging inferno. Depending on the game, enemies with fire-based defenses may be vulnerable to Ice or Water-based damage.
Ice[ | ]
Ice is the elemental embodiment of a freezing blizzard, sometimes capable of shattering foes that have been encased in ice. Depending on the game, enemies with ice-based defenses may be vulnerable to Fire-based damage.
Water[ | ]
Water is the elemental embodiment of a typhoon, capable of drowning enemies and extinguishing flames. Depending on the game, enemies with water-based defenses may be vulnerable to Thunder or Lightning-based damage.
Lightning/Thunder[ | ]
Depending on the game, this element is referred to as either Thunder or Lightning, and represents the electrifying potential of a lightning strike. Depending on the game, enemies with defenses based on this element may be vulnerable to Water-based damage.
Earth[ | ]
Earth is the embodiment of the sheer power of a planet's tectonic power. Depending on the game, enemies with Earth-based defenses may be vulnerable to Wind-based damage.
Wind[ | ]
Wind is the elemental embodiment of the destructive force of a hurricane. Depending on the game, enemies with Wind-based defenses may be invulnerable to Earth-based damage, and may be vulnerable to Lightning or Thunder-based damage.
Holy[ | ]
Holy, in general, is the embodiment of light and spirituality. Depending on the game, enemies with Holy-based defenses may be vulnerable to Shadow-based damage.
Shadow[ | ]
Shadow, in general, is the embodiment of darkness and evil. Depending on the game, enemies with Shadow-based defenses may be vulnerable to Holy-based damage.
