Metal Mind is an action roguelike game developed and published by Whirllaxy Studio. It was released on Steam for Microsoft Windows on April 25, 2022.
Description[]
We fuse transforming Mecha and Roguelite gameplay elements and combine game mechanics, such as weight, armor pieces, heat, and power for you to forge a unique weapon of war to fuel your killing spree!💀💀💀
Laws of Robotics[]
- First Law: A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
- Second Law: A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
- Third Law: A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
AWC[]
AWC, an organization of politicians, scientists, engineers and secret agents, believes that robots should not have wills of their own. They have begun rounding up robots all over the world to deprive them of sentience and enslave them. As an awakened robot, players will embark on a journey of resistance in your search for the liberation of their kind.
Mecha Transformations[]
Players can equip their body, core and actuator parts with over 100 weapons to equip, with a different build with multiple modifications including heat, weapon spin speed, cooldown, power, armor pieces and more.
Equipment Slots[]
There are 5 equipment slots in this game:
- Weapon A
- Weapon B
- Head: dictates available armor, health and head ability.
- Core: dictates the maximum power and power regeneration.
- Actuator: dictates the actuator ability and weight load.
Tips and tricks[]
- Players can travel faster in this game. Players can press tab to teleport to the armory at any time to change out some stuff.
- Note that standing still will most likely lead to death, so it is recommended to constantly move forward.
- During the runs, players can collect red H credits, which can be given to the 2 people at the spawn hub to unlock items, and can also be spent to unlock new modules at the repair bay.
- Players must pay attention to the heat bar at the bottom, where if it gets too high, they will start taking damage. Right clicking will start venting heat rapidly, but players can keep on firing during this time. However, when overheating, they cannot vent their heat.
- Players can repair their armor at any time with the cubes at an armory.
