A microphone is an input device capable of recording sound. Typical microphone uses in games range from team communication (i.e. in most online games like the Xbox Live service), to pitch detection (i.e. Karaoke Revolution), to blowing detection (i.e. Warioware: Touched!, Feel the Magic: XX/XY and Yoshi Touch n' Go), to voice playback and music making (Electroplankton, Warioware: Touched!, Jam with the Band) to voice activated control (Odama, Mario Party 6, Hey You, Pikachu!, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3, Nintendogs).
