Editing Midnight Scenes Ep.1: The Highway (section)

== Plot ==
The game began as a 29 year old woman Claire Barnes driving her car through the night when she stopped due to the road blocked by a knocked up power pole, forcing her to get out from the car to find some way to get past the road and to call help from nearby phone booth. While making her way out, she encountered several missing child posters in which most of them are torn up and vandalized. 

By entering a farm next to the pole, she discovered that a truck crashed the pole that caused it to fall down. Inside the truck, she found a photo of a family consist of a father, mother, and son in which the son's face is similar to the one from the missing child poster. Claire followed the blood trail from the truck to the house when she discovered a bleeding man slumped motionless in the bathroom. She got out from the house after obtaining the key from the man that can unlock the wire cutter's chain lock from the truck. 

After cutting out the wires, Claire get past the pole when she saw a horrifying scene; A destroyed van and the bodies of three people wearing lab coats. She inspected the bodies and found several pictures that seemingly describe an experiment involving a boy from the missing poster. Claire found the phone booth and tried to make a call, but the booth is disabled due to the knocked up pole. Suddenly, a boy wearing a gown appears in front of Claire. When Claire attempted to get closer, the boy ran away leaving a charred photo. Claire picked up the photo that revealed the boy she saw was indeed the same boy that went missing.

The epilogue tells that Claire managed to continue her journey and stopped to the nearby gas station to contact the police. But when the police arrived, there are reportedly no signs of any crash, bodies, and the presence from the mysterious boy. The man in the farm was later found alive but unconscious and drunk. Strangely enough, there is also no mention of the incident from the newspaper. Claire concludes that whatever happened that night is not supposed to be known and she went on with her life.
