All music for Minecraft was first composed by Daniel "C418" Rosenfeld. As the game became more popular, however, others started to produce soundtracks and music for the game. Tracks for the Nether Update (1.16) and the Caves & Cliffs Part II (1.18) were composed by Lena Raine and Kumi Tanioka. Many of the ambient sounds in the game were composed by Samuel Åberg.
