Mischief Makers (known as Yuke Yuke!! Troublemakers in Japan) is a side-scrolling 2D platform/puzzle video game developed by Treasure, and published by Enix in Japan and by Nintendo in America and Europe for the Nintendo 64. It was released in 1997 as one of the first 2D side-scrollers on the Nintendo 64. The game's protagonist is the Ultra-Intergalactic-Cybot G, Marina Liteyears, who is a robotic maid of the absent-minded Professor Theo.
Story[ | ]
Professor Theo has been kidnapped by a group of mercenary Clancers, and his robotic assistant, Marina Liteyears, follows them to Planet Cancer in order to search for him.
Gameplay[ | ]
The player controls Marina, who has a variety of different moves at her disposal including a slide-kick, upper-kick and the ability to grab and throw enemies and objects in different directions. The player travels through themed levels, broken up into various worlds or "regions", each world featuring a boss battle at the end and sub-bosses at various points. The player can also collect gems, which is the game's currency that refills Marina's health meter and allow the player to continue if they get a game over.
