Morris Lupton is the central character and protagonist of the game I Am Dead. As a museum curator on the island of Shelmerston, Morris recently passed away. He is unexpectedly reunited with the ghost of his loyal dog, Sparky. Upon discovering the impending disaster that threatens Shelmerston, Morris takes on the responsibility of unraveling the island's ancient mysteries and preventing the eruption of its volcano.
