Mortal Kombat 4 is a 1997 Fighting video game by Midway. Mortal Kombat 4 was originally released for Arcade platforms in 1997, but later ported to various home consoles throughout 1998. It is the sixth game in the Mortal Kombat series, and is the sequel to Mortal Kombat 3. An updated remake of Mortal Kombat 4 known as Mortal Kombat: Gold was released in 1999 for the Sega Dreamcast.
