A multiplayer game is a game that focuses mostly on Multiplayer gameplay. Games such as Guess Who? and Monopoly are examples of games that were designed for more than one player. On a video game console, there are extra controller slots for players who want to join in a game, 4 players being the most. In some cases, consoles have the option to connect with multiple systems in the same area, known as LAN. Possibly changing the amount of players anywhere from 1-6, 1-8, possibly 1-16.
